What are these?

Post by Supreme_Warlord »

First off, apologies if these questions sound stupid and/or their answers are blindingly obvious (please bear in mind I am still new to this kind of stuff ).

1) What is TGOD/STGOD?

2) What do the yellow stars present under some members' usernames represent?

3) What is this Heavy Armour Brigade that several members seem to be a part of and how is its membership defined (application/invitation)?

Thanks.

   Before I get screamed at, I just noticed the announcement regarding the stars, so further apologies for asking a pointless question.

Thanks.

STGOD - TGOD's for slightly less insane people, it stands for Structured TGOD. In a STGOD there is suprisingly more structure about what sort of things you can and cant pull...
2) READ THIS FOR INFO ON THE LITTLE STARS, PEOPLE.

3) This someone else can answer you on. AFAIK they discuss weapons and military stuff.

Er, if I am not mistaken, I have been here a day longer than you, so I would have hoped the newbie tag doesn't apply.

As for the low post count, I am a person who is more a seen and not heard type.

Thanks.

He's not exactly a newbie. Check his reg date. He just doesn't visit very often it seems.

Au contraire my good friend, I visit here every day and am on the board nearly the full time that I am in front of a computer. In fact, I could well lay claim to verilon's Official SD.net Insomniac title.

Again, refer to my previous post for the explanation of the low post count.

Thanks.[/b]

Odd. You should have 3 yellow stars if you signed up in those first few weeks like the rest of us.

I believe this has to do wih the post threshold for displaying yellow stars(currently standing at 100 posts IIRC). Therefore, it will be a while before my stars appear.

Thanks.

I think you hold the record for lowest postcount per day of users who haven't just wandered off.
