For those who don't read the Hall Of Shame, there's a small chance accounts may be hacked. Those perpetrating this nonsense claimed to have mine breached, so I've updated the password. Just remember to choose tricky passwords and practice safe computing, all.

Really folks. When you come up with a password, use a mix of upper and lower case letters, and insert numbers in the middle of it. In this modern day where even some twelve year old snot can get his hands on a free password cracker, a person who uses a weak password almost deserves what he or she gets.

*sigh* I'm not surprised. Such children...and to think, Storm Rucker invited me to TrekBBS.

No chance in hell now...

No whats worse is that Captain Chewbacca is still there trying to defend the slimy bastards. They've admited openly to using Sir Nitrams account and still the admin in their board defends them and then pulls the chicken shit stunt of barring all registration.

I change at least a few characters a week since I post from computers not my own fairly often now. Think I'm going to make it longer now.

The only people really at risk from these TrekBBS people are those who signed up accounts at trollkingdom and recklessly used the same password there that they use here (or people who just use a plain silly password).

As a general rule, use alphanumerics and a combination of upper and lower case to make your password difficult, and of course, avoid the use of your name, the names of your relatives, simple English words, etc.

I changed my password into something obscenely long and incomprehendable.

I'm prepared.

(Trolling as me would be really difficult)

14 characters, random capitalization, random number, based on the AOL screen name of someone I don't have on my buddy list. Enjoy.

A few minutes ago I tried to log in to find that the password was wrong. I almost lost my account but I recovered the password. Whew

EDIT: And it wasn't through the email function (my listed email's defunct right now).

Good work guys, tell them exactly how long your password is and what it consists of. What are you, idiots?

Now I'm going to laugh when none of you can remember your new passwords.
