Christianity. Ironically, it gave us the majority of the basic fantastic critters and stereotypes which fundies are so opposed to . Without Christianity, we wouldn't have those kick-ass paladins and clerics, maybe not even angels in the fantastic sense.

I would say Islam because in their heyday, the Muslims had scientific achievements unrivaled anywhere else in the world.

Islam. Turkish mosques own any Christian cathedral, the Ottomans also gave us the mortar. Though I like naval warfare and the Christian forces kicked a lot of ass at Lepanto.

Christianity. Christianity gives us Priests who are armed to the teeth. Fighting priests kick ass (see Hellsing, Xenogears, and to a lesser extent Trigun).

I abstaint there is nothing cool with religion who threatens people with death if they do not join.

Christianity has Papal Ninjas. Islam does not.

As we all know, any religion with Ninjas is automatically cooler than any religion that has no ninjas.

Therefore, Christianity is cooler than Islam.

So what? I know all that and it doesn't change what they look like. I find Christian Cathedrals fairly ugly. If I want to go by engineering achievement as being cool, which I don’t really feel like, I'd go look up the religious of the builders of a couple bridges and dams and railways. I expect a great many would be Christian. Though I now wonder who designed the Ataturk dam?

Now leave me be with my one minor aspect based comparision.

Islam has absolutely nothing to do with the Middle East as the Cradle of Civilization. That was thousands of years before.

The Hagia Sophia predated Islam by atleast a century, and the mineret style was copied in all mosques. Originally it was a cathedral in the old Byzantine empire, and was a very Christian monument. Later when Byzantium became muslim, or when muslims adapted the Hagia Sophia style, minerets and such became typical of turko-muslim design.

In regards to coolness, I like Christianity because i get to play rock music at the Sunday night service. Islam bans most music.
