OK, I will refrain from masturbation for this post... just this once.

Anyway. if you like to party, do you smoke the reef or prefer to drink? What types of experiences have you had with it?

For me, I have always been more of a drinker. It just seems like I have more fun while drunk.

Even though I like alcohol, I have to admit that pot is probably the lesser of the two evils. Alcohol can make people fight, get mean, rape women... I mean the stoners can barely get off the sofa to get the Doritos, let alone rape anyone. You know what I mean?

Once at a high school party, I was smoking from a bong and was ripped out of my mind. I tried watching a "NOVA" special on reproductive anatomy, and all of that information on the vagina was too much for me. I think my brain still the scars... And you know what? I could swear to god the next "NOVA" special wsa called "Tapeworm: Friend or Foe?"

Drinkin'. I've never touched an illegal chemical in my life and don't see why I need to. I can drink and get the desired effects wiyhout having to worry about legal hassles.

BTW, ever heard of a group called 'Elite Fitness'? Just curious.

D. Wong told me that they are steroid advocates that invaded. Being a weight lifter, I checked out the site. Wasn't impressed.

I prefer feeling more and being in control, than being drunk and feeling less and being out of control. Besides when you're drunk you can't entertain yourself by staring at the cool painting on the wall for hours on end. Plus music is soooooo much better when on cannabis than when drunk.

Now while I'm not adavicating going out and smoking pot, I can tell you one thing. The experience when on pot is far greater than any experiance ever felt while drunk. Being high increase sensations i.e. sex is the best thing to do with your girlfriend while both of you are high, let me put it this way for about 2 hours she constantly had an orgasm. If we were drunk it would be crappy didn't feel good sex. Alcohol is a nerve antagonist, it blocks nerve signals. Cannabis is a nerve agonist, it increase nerve impulses.

Booze is more fun at social situations.

Weed is more fun for quiet time at home.

In accordance with board policy, I do not smoke marijuana. However, hypothetically, if I did, I'd say I prefer neither it nor alcohol--they each have their own good points. If, hypothetically, I smoked marijuana, it would be sort of a rare treat for me, kinda like a good cigar, whereas I drink almost any time I have a chance and I know I won't have to drive.

Being as how board rules don't allow us to discus illegal activities i can only talk hypothetically. As someone who hypothetically uses both, but never at the same time, Thats a bad idea, I hypothetically prefer weed. I am a big believer that while alcohol is a social drug weed is a mellow drug. When i drink i am effected in different ways depending on what i drink and what my mood is. With weed you usually get a consistant feeling, but it's a feeling i never get tired of. I've never had sex while high but i have while drunk and it was crap.

Sex while high is no picnic. You just get tired and mellow and don't want to move. Sensations like that are just too much to deal with.

And yes, doing both at the same time is a bad idea. I was hypothetically at this party, and I got hypothetically cocked off my hypothetical ass. And then I hypothetically thought it would be a good idea to take a hypothetical hit off this 6' bong that people were hypothetically passing and packing. And I was hypthetically fucked out of my hypothetical gourd.

...that wasn't NEARLY as funny as I thought it would be...

Getting stoned:

I stopped because I started getting sick.

Getting drunk:

I refuse to drink the only thing that will get me buzzed (beer), so I don't drink that much. But I do like to drink.

hypothetically, I would prefer weed, since as has been said, it does not induce violence, anger and loss of control as much as alcohol does.

Bah! A sugar high is better than either of those, since you can always eat/drink as much as you want, regardless of where you live or how old you are! (Read: I live in the U.S. and I'm underage. Pity me.)

Oh, and I was wondering: if someone from, say, the Netherlands, were to talk about smoking pot, would it be against board policy?

It would, considering this is a board based in Canada.

As for the eating sugar, you forget there are diabetics that it would be lethal to.

During my few months in amsterdam last summer, i quite enjoyed the use of cannabis. Its effects are of a totally different nature than alcohol and are considerably more desirable. If it were legal here, i would smoke maybe 10 times for every time i drank (and i probably would want to be high while i was drinking).

Too bad cannabis use is illegal in the US, and regarldess of my opinion on the law's constitutionalality, intelligence, or moralality, i am not going to risk my credibility as an advocate by being arrested and sent to jail.

Drinking. Stoning. It's all needless artificial escapism and relying on external chemical crutches for sensation. However given the choice between the two, alcohol at least won't leave a scent trail pointing towards a habit and that's what I would go with.

Of course I would never touch the stuff in real life!


However, in the magical land of hypothetical possiblities my evil (good?) alter-ego has been known to partake of either substance. He also prefers drinking moreso at parties because weed mellows him out and makes him more zoned out and anti-social than usual. But if the Sweet Mary Jane is passed as well as the booze flows, he won't refuse either. Opium is an interesting and fun thing, too!

If it was an either/or situation, I'd definately take the whacky tobacee just because I CANNOT stand the taste of alcohol.

Even the board policy being what it is and where it is located, for me to talk about IS legal because of doctor sanctioned medical use. Love some Canadian laws and some CA laws being virtually the same.

Back on topic, back in my partying days, nothing capped off a night of heavy drinking better than some greasy food and a big, fat joint.

These days, I would prefer the company of stoners over drunks, but anyone lost in chemicals tends to bore me anyhow, regardless of their drug of choice.

I've stopped "smoking" for several years.

I'm still smoking but just ordinary cigarettes. Another kind of drug...

I used to play in a band, on saxophone. When I was high I was far better and played damn good things. Accidently I wasn't able to write them down and when the effect wore off I could never play the damn things again.

Wether sex was better when I was high?

No...just different and most of it I don't remember.

All together "smoking" wasn't as good as it were "adverted".

As for alcohol...

It's a social disease. I use to drink but never get so drunk when I can't control myself. I think it's more fun, while your a bit drunk you can make easier new contacts with other persons. While you're stoned you don't even notice an elephant that were passing by in the same room.
