Time is irrelevant to my existence
But if you wish for it to be arbitrary quantified, mortal, 4+8-2+9x2+1-2+7-10 then devide by two

That is most strange, as it works fine for me with them. Very well, I declare to puzzle to be trick, which non can defeat!
Update, I've tried this with four calculators, the TI-83 says 12, the other two plus what comes with windows says 17.

I got 34 in the bracketts, and 17 when I devide by two, am I missing something?

If you go straight accros and do it you get 17.
But if you follow the order of operations and multiply first then you get 12.
So for the sake of argument lets say he is 14.

As old as I choose to be. I've passed myself off for 18-28 with no issues at all. Age is irrelevant.
