Which City do you think should get the games?
I am cool with any city winning as long as it isn't Paris.

Well, they aren't bidding for the games, so no danger of that.

Northern UK would be nice, (cheaper than going to London), provided we can get rid of the hooligans, get a new stadium and generally smarten ourselves up a bit, although I wouldnt mind Paris either, it's got good food, it's accessible, it's got a national stadium, which automatically gives it one up on London at the minute.

San Antonio, Texas. We've been getting some pretty good events lately, summer X-Games and Miss America Pagent come to mind. Nice small town city despite the population of almost 1 million and the huge ammounts of weed.

San Antonio would be nice.
I also saw that San Francisco is interested in hosting. It would be pretty good plus the summer weather there is rather nice.
Those two cities would be pretty decent choices if it had to be in the US. With the way our Olympic coverage is anymore I've really been turned off of the Olympics. Hopefully NBC's contract runs out soon because their coverage has been crap, biased crap, sappy crap, and just more crap.
Are there any Central or South American countries putting in a bid? That would be a nice change plus it'd be in a decent time zone for live viewing.

I don't think there is any danger of it going to America after the 1996 fiasco.

It should have been Tampa in 2012

NEW YORK MOTHERFUCKER

Madrid, Spain
Just because our national pride wouldn't stand for another Spanish Olympics without immediate counterstrike, which would end in Lisbon applying to the 2016 and 2020 games [the issue is being discussed].

I'd say New York would be a good candidate. They have plenty of time to prepare, and it would make them a good amount of tourist money.
But I think the games will probably go to Madrid or Leipzig.

Anaheim, since we're hosting the World Series and the Stanley Cup anyway.

Anaheim is home to a sports franchise owned by Disney. I say no.

Which isn't even bidding at this point. That little bit of wishful delusion died quite a while ago.
