Clothes quality vs. quantity

Okay a while back I had a change of mind. Before I always bought cheap clothes that didn’t last but nowadays I only buy brand clothes.
My last item was a jacket from
Peak Performance for about $200.
In my opinion the jacket is much nicer and I do like it but if it’s because it’s more expensive or not I honestly don’t know.
So what’s your opinion? Do you buy brand clothes or not?

I bought a couple of non-name brand jeans two years ago, and they're still the only two pair of jeans I own. Of course, they're starting to show significant wear, so it's almost time to buy more non-name brand jeans. I'm wearing the same non-name brand shirts and t-shirts I bought/obtained over five years ago.

I by clothing i think looks nice. Which usually tends to be brand name... but sometimes there is snazzy shit that isn't name brand. Thrift stores are a goodp lace to get shirts now adays, since graphic Tees are in full effect. I found a Tee shrit that says ' blackalicious ' on it and couldn't pass it up.... thats just too hillarious. I wouldn't buy gap shit, but i do like Old navy, and they're owned by the same company.... go figure ^_~

Well I don't buy brand T-Shirts.
$10 or so for one tshirt is just dumb, and I don't use t-shirts exept when I expect to do messy work like crawl on the flor any connect cat5 wire or stuff like that.

Well then if you're gonna buy a jacket or a trench coat or any suit type clothing of the sort than of course you're gonna expect to pay alot. I wouldnt' settle for a cheap piece of shit. Might as well by something that'll last you a long time.

Usually some sort of balance between the two.

Quality. I look for clothes that look nice and are well made. I look for good fabric and stitching quality, other than my jeans which get abused a lot my clothes have all lasted a good 5 years or more. I don't like shopping for stuff in general and being the practical type I always go for things that last.

I go for minor name brands. That way, their cheaper than mainstream things, and with the same quantity of non-brand items.

UNFORTUNATELY! I have this weakness for Abercrombie/Ralph Lauren/Calvin Klien! ROFL
Most typically my budget says: Old Navy
I do REQUIRE boxers made by Abercrombie and Calvin Klien. Just gotta be comfortable underneath!

I tend to go for both. I don't spend on a name and can find plenty of quality clothes. It is possible to get good clothing with out paying out the ass for it.
And besides most the name brand stuff is of no better quality than the off brand stuff. You're just paying for the name.
