Remember those photos I posted a while back in this thread?

I just went back today, and they're filming in full force! Lights, cameras, trailers, and a 2 story blue screen! The more refined set looks like something out of a Conan movie, if he were to find a fortress on Hoth!

There's a "stone" bridge leading toward the structure, and there's another section they're filming on that looks similar. Didn't have my camera with me today, though...

Blue screen? Hmm. Then it must not be used for a scene Spidey is in.

Why not? They can bluescreen in anything...

It's mostly greenscreen these days.

Spidey's costume is partly blue so they can't use bluescreen. They used greenscreen for him. And for Green Goblin they used bluescreen because the greenscreen can't be used with the Gobey's costume.

That reminds me. Why is greenscreen used more than bluescreen nowadays anyway? I don't quite understand.

i think green is less likely than blue to show up on your average shoot. blue is sky, green is nothing. not that green, anyway.
