Since today's day of infamy, the phrase TK has been flying around a lot, I was wondering, what exactly is it?

Its a board. Bunch of crazies and degenerates and me hang out there.

Just don't take them too seriously. Half the posters on that board are duals of one guy.

For a while I was considering joining up to defend the honor of our resident Gonzo Journalist, but then I thought better of making any connection with that board. And the fact that it wouldn't have done any good probably had something to do with it too.

Hey, it never hurts to try. That's one of the reasons I'm here. Unfortunately, the TK mods are a bit less hands-on than Mkie, so you are on your own in there.

What I want to know is here the fuck these people came from and why. Seriously, from my pov these folks did not even exist and suddenly we were getting invaded, and serious hacking as a result.

Why do they drop the gauntlet like this? Who, why, and for what purpose? To what gain? Mike does not sanction board invasions being launched from the Star Destroyer so I seriously doubt we fired the first shot.

Its a loooooooooooooooooooong story and like many things, it depends on your point of view as to who started it. I'd refer you to the threads chronicalling this, but Mike erased all evidence of the "incident".

Suffice it to say, it started small, and no one would let it die, so it got bigger and bigger. Been about a month, now.

As for a purpose? My guess is for laughs. Why does anyone hack a message board?

But then, the mind of a hacker is a mystery to me.
