Heh, I finally got my drivers permit, even though Im almost 17. The reason for the really large delay is that my parents wanted me to take driver's education before I got my license. I just now had time to do that. But now I'm pretty excited, because I wont have to rely on other people for rides anymore, soon. On the negative side, my photo looks like crap.

Haha, I'm 15 and have mine, except I don't use mine to much.

I've got drivers training this summer, so I'll have my permit before I'm 16.

Is a permit a full liscence?

The permit allows you to take the test to get the license. I'm turning 17 on the 1st, but I haven't even gotten the pink slip yet.

I look hella weird on my driver's license, i've not even got long hair!

Lucky bastard. I haven't found the time to get mine yet. Oh well...it's not like I have a pressing need to drive anyway.

I'm just too lazy to get mine, going on 2 years eligibility.

I didn't get my license till I was almost 21 (July 2002).

I'm going to take driver's ed next year. My brother, curiosly, has had no interest., and he's just finished Junior year. Seems common though.

Gotcha. UK equivalent is the Provisional liscence.
