Out of interest, how many people at this board have Italian-American or Italian-Canadian blood running through your veins? Dalton, Darth Garden Gnome, and Durandal come to mind but that is all. Any others?
My folks are immigrants from Italy (Mom is from the South-Central region of Abruzzo and my Dad is from Croatia (later moved to Venice)).

My grandpa is a pure-blooded Sicilian, and my grandma is half Italian, making my mom 75 percent italian, and making me three eighths Italian. I don't look it much though, I take more after my dad whose descent isn't really known (he was adopted).
Ah hell, I'll come out and say it. I'm just pure fundie redneck on my dad's side. Unfortunately, he was adopted by fundies as well.

My mother's side of the family (including my mother) came from or around the area of Bagnoli del Trinio, southeast of Rome in the middle of Italy.
Fun fact: My great Uncle Pat (recently deceased...) immigrated here, enlisted in the army and fought against his own nation...

Half Italian on my mom's side. Half Southern German Lutheran on the other. It's a bit of a contrast.

There's enough guys here to start a money laundering/loan shark operation. Shall we all meet somewhere in New Jersey to talk business over and expresso coffee? Wear a suit, your gold chains and a pinky ring.

Half a one on my muddah's side.
Funny story- My grandfather boasted that he "rode with Capone."
My mom says all old Italian men claim they rode with Capone, and my grandfather was full of shit.

I own a lot of clothes from Italy, so that makes me an Italian-clothes-wearing-Canadian. Does that count?

I'm 50% Italian, it being from my dad's side. My family is from Bitonto, a small town in the Southern part of The Boot.
