Damn, I completely forgot I had registered this name until just last night. So can I be considered a SD.Net First One who took a very long break?

Um, restart my post count? Surely you jest! Now, if he could merge the two together, while letting me keep RogueIce (my preferred name) I'd be happy.

If not, then I'll just keep on using RI as a nick, and have this around for grins.

Or...I'll keep this Ice nick in case I ever get moded. Ice will be the Mod ident, and RogueIce will be general posting!

And yes, I do cling to the belief I will be Moded, no, SUPER MODED one day. It could happen...really.

Just delete the Ice account, it's only got three posts anyway, and let him use the old one.

I think he was suggesting "delete RogueIce, keep Ice but rename it to RogueIce" thus letting me keep the join date (and stars after about 97 more posts) and having to restart my postcount all over again.

But then, looking in the Preview window, he beat me to this explanation.

Actually, "Ice" is the older account, with a Join Date of 06 Jul 2002, IOW, three days after the board went active. But "RogueIce" has all my posts. So it's a bit of a conflict: older join date, or the post count?

Personally, I'm gonna keep using RI for my usual posting, and keep Ice around for when I eventually assume my rightful role as a SuperMod.

The board didn't get online until the 5th of July, IIRC
