What happened to the avatars?

I might have missed something, but it looks like nearly all avatars have disappeared from the board (excepting those with custom titles and mods). My own's gone as well. Is it just me?

Missing image tags (red X / <image> error), under IE6 and Opera 7 (to exclude a browser issue). Then again, as things seem to have returned to normal, let's let this thread die.
