A fair question. Although with them shutting down the show, it would appear that the organizers feel some guilt or blame for the accident.

Horrible. Shit like this is just one more reason why I think Im gonna be a worry wort as a parent.
I get scared when my neice falls down, I cant imagine the horror of seeing something like this.

Heard the parents talking about it on the radio this morning, bummer.
On a related note, theres an old WWII story about a woman who got hit in the back of the head by one of the barrage balloon cables, she held her head until she got to hospital, and discovered that her neck had been broken, apparently, if she'd let go, she'd have died.
