Go Shorty, It's your birthday

On this day back in 1972 at 7:02 am a certain writer of Fanfics, in particular the Star Crossed saga, was born. Now 31 years old, weighed down by life's little trials and tribulations and having witnessed the birth of his own daughter, Stravo has a slight spring to his step on this day.
In the words of my duaghter's current favorite song (and yes I am disturbed that she likes Rap)
Go shorty it's your birthday, we're gonna party like it's your birthday!!

[Nelson] ha ha [/Nelson] Your birthday is the same as Ted's.
Happy birthday bud, enjoy the day and remember that I will always be happy for you (because you are one year older than me and that makes me young and you old)

He's not old yet!
my GF's son is 9, turning 10 soon.
Hmm, what should I get a Brat who talks back too me, and refuses to do his homework?

Lawn darts. Then offer to go play with him in the front yard.

Being completely oblivious to that type of music, is Shorty in the song, or is that what your daughter calls you?

Nope that's a song lyric. Shorty is street slange for either (a) your child or a child. "How many shorties you got?" "That your shorty over there?"
(b) Your girlfriend (not as widely used but in this song its evident its his girfriend since you would most likely not drink cristal with your child, but considering teh ghetto life, maybe I'm wrong)
My daughter dances and shakes her skinny butt to this song. I have her aunt to thank for this alarming taste in music.

And so it was on this day that a man of--no, the LORD of Fanfics was given birth to, yonder 31 years past...What brings him to this drowsy corner of the world? Doth his daughter kisten to disturbing music? To what reason does this man have the will to live? To love? To keep listening to that crappy music?
I don't know the answers to those questions. So go write more Starcrossed.
