Shep is perfectly normal. There's absolutely nothing wrong with liking guns, weapons, and violence. Of course I've been refered to as "a complete fucking psycho" so my assesment may not be entirely accurate.

I had considered analyzing the board-monkies here for quite some time, however, my plans were always thwarted by Mr. Duck. You see, he has a vendetta against me for foiling the plans of doom many times. It was HE who crashed the Mircrosoft TV! I know!

Shep's agressioon and love of violence stem from a subconcious desire to sleep with his mother. He enjoys weapons because he is trying to be dominant over his father(who he is jealous of because his father bangs his mother on a regular basis). He is a complete fucking psycho because he hates his father and has repressed sexual desire for his mother.

You could have just said "Oedipus Complex"

Which is very strange in the sense that Electra never wanted to sleep with Aggamemnon she wanted her twin brother, and hated her stepmom greatly. But they named the female version of the Complex after her.

Also Oedipus was horrified at his actions with Jocosta once he had realized the truth, he tore oit his eyes and exiled himself from Sparta, Jocasta Hung herself. their daughter angry at the King of Sparta's refusal to let her bury her dead mother and brother organized the seven agianst Sparta.

Yes, as a result of years of therapy I can do the Amature Psyche game better then many, but I am full of it too.

I have a HUGE(but justified) persecution complex. I have a sick obsession with death and various ways to kill people. I can walk into a room and think of 10 ways to kill people. Murder is bad and I would never kill someone. Crazy but harmless

I think that DarkStar is afraid to admit his own inadequacy in everything. He was likely pressured by someone as a child, but failed miserably to live up to those expectations. Perhaps he even missed a last-second shot in basketball, of fumbled the ball on the one yard line or something like that. In any case, he seems terrified to admit that he is incapable of doing something. He probably is in denial that his position is dead-end, and he is likely similarly afraid that he is a failure in life, as he is on the board.
