Reading the new condensed announcements again, along with the new found ability to legal view porn, something struck me. (NOT sperm!)

I am pretty sure that some members of the BotM are under the age of 18, yet the naked pictures thread is there, accessible to those naive little children. [Maud Flanders]Think of the children![/Maud Flanders]

With it being reinforced that it cannot be posted on the public forums to keep it away from the youngsters, the fact that where it currently is is negating that. Either it gets moved into an adult only forum, or the little kiddies get kicked out of the BotM until they are of age, or it is deleted.

This is all for legal purposes, we don't want Mike to loose the sight because little kids are viewing porn now do we?

Long story...but he made the account long ago...forgot it existed...made new one...and has now realized this one still exists even after the purges.

And yes...what is this Naked pictures in the BoTM....I have never seen anything but wholesome content in that forum.

Those rules refer to explicit pornography; read the registration page. Unless Mike has changed the rules without telling anyone, non-explicit stuff is allowed everywhere, it's concentration is just highest in the BotM, with explicit porn being banned everywhere, not just on the public forums.

Yeah. Like nudity? I know I've seen DW himself post a breast shot and say that's alright, but just for definition's sake, would full frontal (ie, that which "lies beneath") still be allowed? Not that I'm overly eager to see it, but just incase I ever, for example, have my own BBS.

Mike posted a picture a while back of Claudia Christian. He censored her pubes and nothing else; you could still clearly see everything else on the front except for that one little bit.

HemlockGrey is a member, and he hasn't exactly made a secret about his age. I know I was never even asked.

Uhhh, I'm 17 and in the BotM, and I've admitted so.

The Brotherhood of the Monkey is an organization established to help its members more easily trade family recipies, so it's not like an age limit is required.

But yeah, there are several less-than-eighteen-year-olds in there. I remember a long time back ver had a thread polling all our ages, but I don't recall if anything was done about it. I think that now no new under-eighteens will be allowed in, but obviously the others are grandfathered in. Hemlock Grey has been in the BotM since before that, hence why he's still in. I don't know about the legality of it, but that's the way it seems to be.

I am 17, and I told Verilon so, when he asked. I am certain that it is allowed.

I think it's time I broke down and applied for membership. I was unaware of all this nudity and debauchery.
