It's a quote from an Israeli commander's final briefing to his F-16 squadron on the first day of the 1982 war. It stood out a mile in an Air Forces Monthly article I read.
So why am I using it? I thought it was very much the attitude that a Space Marine would have, and I'm a Marine commander in 40k, so... Yeah. Bad taste? Quite possibly.

Mine's the unwritten motto of the bikeshop where I work. People do the most retarded things with their bikes, then expect us to fix it for free. Like the person that oiled his brake pads because they squeaked and wondered why he couldn't stop.

Mine is just something I pulled right from my own book. Yeah, yeah, yeah . . . I know. But it sounded good, and it fit the username. And . . . replying to this pushes me one post closer to being promoted to Padawan. :D

Well the first one is taken from Gundam Wing. I changed it from Gundam to Vanguard because at the time I put it in my sigs for the message board, I commanded the Vanguard Wing in the DG group. Just sounds so bad ass when you tell you people before entering a tournament.

Second, I got it the other day. I overlooked it once, but Ender pointed it out. On the SB boards Darkstar has this at the top of one of his posts. God damned hillarious.

The song is completely in German, and is...vocalized, with a rather demonic-sounding tone of voice. These together give it an air of evil which can scare some people. It is really a recipe for Mary Jane's Famous Brownies, IIRC. The line 'und keine eier' is repeated several times, to much fanfare.
