As for a side note on this, mow many points do you "get" if a character based entirely on yourself is made in Role-Player??
Let's see, calculating it for me:
Advantages:
155pts.
(Seen girl naked, Seen girl naked in real life, Atheist beliefs, Parental Understanding of role-playing, Does not understand reference to the second Golgafrincham Ark, Able to give names to characters that are appropriate to the setting and are not Gygax-style e.g. 'Kazyon' or 'Zarquin', Can recognise the difference between a subtle reference and outright plagiarism,Doesn't suffer from a deep-seated and secret loathing of themselves, Likes classical music, Lovecraftian vocabulary)
Disadvantages:
-60pts.
(Impaired vision, genuine resemblance to genre character (Harry Potter), Eccentric' dress sense (as Dr. Who etc.), Has a variety of 'character accents' (some of them not Welsh/Pakistani), Strange Phobia (used to have a phobia of SGAs), Considers addition of purple clothing to black as 'boldly garish',)
Skills:
115 pts
(Improvise tool, Improvise costume, Knowledge of obscure real life sects, Obsessive and detailed knowledge of one other subject, Knowledge of the natural world, Knows hilarious 'fantasy' versions of American Pie, All Around My Hat, What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor etc, Musician)
Backgrounds:
-25
(Has ever played a character who is an extremely identifiable genre character, Has multi-part novel/freeform /comic perpetually 'in development')
Equipment:
20 pts
(Non-leather clothes)
In total, were I a "Role-Player" character, I'd be worth 205 points! What about YOU??
