For those that might be wondering, no, the water's not hit my and Nitram's apartment yet, althugh there is water in the basement making it smell funky. The only way we'd flood, since we're not near a creek, is if the river jumps it's banks. Last time I looked, it still had 20ft to the top of the banks, even when running 10-15ft higher than normal.

Jeeez, Tevar, I hope it doesn't get any worse. Ick.

'Tis rough. I'm lucky. I live on a hill in Florida, so I don't have to worry too much, even with a hurricane. Well, flood-wise anyway. The wind is another story...

At any rate, thoguh my house may not flood until Noah Take II, everything around me sure as Hell does. Take the intersection of Busch and 56th right by my house... Geez, when we get a downpour it's like another little lake over there! So I may not flood, but I might just become an island out here. :D

:smirks: Well, when WV is *technically* an illegal state, since we were made from another state, without approval from that state, by Executive Order of President Lincoln... Ya kinda enjoy celebrating that fact. Especially when its 140yrs old. (no comments from the Europeans and their 500+ yr histories, please)

So, it's been a State (and Bank) Holiday for over a century.

This here European is certainly going to keep his mouth shut...

At least I know where all the water went that's usually used to ruin our summer.

I do hope you and Nitram stay OK, m'lady, and enjoy your 3-day weekend.

...because there's no point in being grouchy when I have a 4-day weekend coming :P

Well, there is the occasional fringe benefit of NOT having proper separation of state and church...
Meow..
You know, that's a pretty nasty thing to do to a cat person...
*melts*

Bah. I live in Evacuation Zone B and across the street is Zone A.

Ha. Ha. Ha. :)

Why yes I do. And Busch Gardens and Adventure Island to boot. That and the University Mall. And I'm not all that far away from Brandon and the Fairgrounds, and I can make downtown and Ybor in about 15-20 minutes on backroads, assuming traffic/weather doesn't fuck things up.

All in all, prime location to be in. :D

At times the CSS for the Millenniumfalcon theme goes apeshit.

I'm using SubSilver, though.

So it might be the CSS in general.
