Ok, 'fess up. How many of you are going to get the newest HP book (
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix) when it comes out later this week, and how many of you just don't give a shit?

Well, I may get it, but I know several of my friends are going to get it, so I'll be a bum and take it from them for a few days.
By the way, from the number of books printed, I wouldn't be suprised if the sixth Harry Potter book will be Harry Potter and the End of All Trees.

I've read the first one and seen it on TV. That's it. So no, I'm not making any plans to go out and buy it anytime soon. Force Heretic III on the other hand...

I tried to read the first one, gave up. Thus ended my foray into HP.
LOTR RULES!!!

May I humbly request a 'Umm, I've already pre-ordered the book and it'll be at my house 'shortly' because that's when amazon says they'll deliver' option for those of us outside the US/UK?

Indeed, burn them all I say! Reading part of the first one stole many precious minutes of my life and I want them back.

Of course for Amazon that means before you die.
As for me, I don't really care. There's other stuff I want to get first.

It should be pointed out that the first two books are shit, but the third and fourth books actually are really good.

I'm gonna get the book. HP books (especially the Brit and adult covers) are like babe magnets here....

Will borrow my sisters copy when I get home from Uni, I'm in no rush, it's hardly the literary highlight of my year - if such a thing exists... am hoping for darkness, doom and death. May not get it, but am fully prepared to supply my own...

I'll probably buy it if I've found work by then.
Hmm, so Harry and his friends should be 15-16 in this next book? Damn, it's almost to the point where we can start pumping out fanfiction in which the girls discover the secret 'wandus vibratus' spell and it won't be considered sick and creepy. [JOKE! -ed]

Do we really need to go back to the Chamber of Secret's gags?

In a small comic I did for a friend who is a fan of the movie, I had Hermione finally getting so angry at Ron (for being a pig headed moron) that she accidently cast Dragon Slave and leveled Hogwarts.

I want to see the Empire take out Hogwarts, or maybe a Balrog of Morgoth...

Actually, they're usually pretty prompt with delivery once they've commited themselves to a date. amazon.de, anyways.
Hell, there used to be a time when they were so fast I started thinking 'week' was this thing divided into 24 hours...

I miss my choice from those available.
My choice on the Potter-matter is: "I'm not interested."
I don't hate it, nor love it.
I've seen the movie but the story was quite boring for me.
Buying the H. Potter books? Highly unlikely.

If this is you being indifferent, I don't want to be around when you're cranky...

There's no option for me on that poll. I don't hate Harry Potter, but I know full well who he is. I also will never read any of the books, though I will watch all of the movies.

I'ts a nice series. Not nearly as good as LOTR, but on par, writingwise, with the Cronicles(sp) of Narnia(Only the HP movies DIDN'T suck!)
I think I'll look for it when the library list shortens.

I'll buy the new one on my own time persay.
It's a fun easy read...and not bad for children stylings.

I found the Harry Potter series enjoyable, but I lost interest in the books some years ago.
