Why not make it a fight between Freeman, Shepard, and Calhoun?

The US Troops of DoD have guns that dispatch their enemies in one shot, AWP-style. They assume a defensive posture with .30 Cals. The stupid CS and TFC teams just rush them and get mowed down. Freeman and his boys try to sneak by, but the liability of the NPCs gets them all killed.

Then it becomes a drawn out battle against the Axis, which is pretty well a tossup.

The original and best. How can standard troops stand up to aliens? Let alone Freeman in HEV and assassins?

Exactly the point though DoD troops have one-Shot one kill weapons thats because thier oppentes are not wearing Kevlar are they?

Fokes if Freeman can take 14 bullets in that HEV suit from an M-16 before his shields are all gone and eight more before he dies what do you think will happen?

Freeman is officially the luckiest bastard alive. How else can you explain his survival though the jump-puzzle hell of the Xen levels? And he can carry a shotgun, an MP5, two pistols, multiple grenades and explosive devices, two experimental heavy weapons and a missile launcher, plus ammo, all at once. Sucker must be built like a tank.

I prefer to call it: "power armour".

Well, there you go. He can't really lose, can he?
(Of course, it helps that Freeman is the only character in the poll to benefit from both of the standard FPS conventions - unrealistically generous health and armour, and the ability to carry many weapons with ease - but I suppose that can be rationalised by his cool automated suit. )

It actutaly is if you pay attention to the opening crawel when you slap your suit on, Its DESGINED to do all that and more
