Well, like I posted in the "What do you look like (take 2)?" Thread, I handed in my NROTC application today to the Recruiting Officer at USF NROTC. He said there shouldn't be too much of a problem, and that I should be fairly good to go to join the unit. But, just in case, wish me luck that nothing goes wrong!

If it works, I'll be reporting to the Orientation on 18 August, where I will then get my uniforms issued, as well, as going to (IIRC) NAS Jacksonville and surrounds (ie Mayport Naval Station and Kings Bay) to do some PT, and get an orientation on the three major fields of the Navy for a line officer (Surface, Aviation, and Sub-Surface). Should be a lot of fun, and it'll be pretty much my "welcome" to NROTC.

So, I'll be sure to report back then, and post some pics of me in my Midshipman togs!
