If a woman is sexually free and adventurous, does it turn you off? Do men really prefer the chaste type?

I know I tend to be somewhat aggressive sexually, am I setting myself up for disappointment by being so open with my desires and experiences?

Nope. Damn near any woman that is willing to have sex with me turns me on.

Actually, I like a woman who's publicly demure. You know the old saying: "men like a woman who's a chaste princess in public and a nymphomaniac in the bedroom".

It really depends on the man. Some men have cooler libidos then they claim they do, so a women with a high-revving sex drive scares them. The same with some "macho" men who prefer the idea of the man being in charge of the sex.

Others have higher libidos, or are willing to try anything at least once. So women with similarly high libidos don't scare them. And some of us think "Why the hell should the men lead all the damned time?" It's nice to know a woman who isn't afraid to occasionally grab the bull by the horns, so to speak.

What can I say? I like to be in the driver's seat.

Hmmm.. I'm surprised you didn't go for an Asian girl then Mike. Especially Korean girls.. yikes. Unfortuantely though.. when a girl is two-faced about her sexuality they can also be two-faced about a lot of things. Vicious women them asian girls can be!

I like women who are themselves. A shy woman who pretends to be a sex fiend would turn me off, just as the opposite would. Though I would prefer a woman who is open and adventurous, but not overwhelming.

Depends on how I feel at the time and who the woman is.

I love to experiment and don't hide the fact, as well as being a bisexual. It's not like I have to be "in the driver's seat" all the time. I just don't feel the need to limit myself sexually. The "I will try anything once and usually more" saying applies to me.

I also subscribe to a lack of double standards between the sexes. One night stands and multiple partners included.

To bad I reproduce asexually.

Very sexually aggressive women quite often turn me off. For some reason I find that women who are very aggressive make me a bit nervous.





But if she was hot, i'd still do her.

if its casual, I have little problem with how adventourous the femme has been.

if its more of a close relationship, I get a little iffy.

I get tested every three months and always use a condom..no exceptions. I also use dental dams or in a pinch KY and Saran wrap with women. Safety is paramount. And should be regardless of how many partners or frequency of sexual activity. [/sermon]

I would prefer a woman who was shy in public, and wild in private.

Why should sexual history effect a close, loving relationship? Am I less of a person because I enjoy sex and therefore deserve less respect than a self-proclaimed "chaste" woman?

Don't fool yourselves, the majority of women lie about sexual history because of these sorts of attitudes. Most women have had more sex than you think. I simply choose to be honest.

If a guy wants a faithful mate, he is less likely to trust a woman who has been very sexually adventurous in the past. This is not an unreasonable approach.

Maybe not, but it may not be an accurate one. For example, I may be adventurous now, but when I am in a committed relationship I am completely faithful. Adventurous does not automatically mean lacking in morals, or an uncontrollable sexual acting out.

I am imperfect and do not always perfectly word every statement I make. Of course I meant, in my experience many women will lie about their sexual history in order to make a man more comfortable. With the women I have discussed such issues with, dishonest representation has fallen in the majority.
