Cookie for anyone who tells me what song the above line is from:

Anyway... this is hardly big news, and is nothing compared to Innerbrat's first in her degree, but I have finished my first year exams, finally. For the next two weeks, I get to do nothing save look for a job, relax and keep the place tidy. :)

I am now very relieved, I've just had an email from my department head, telling me that barring some total screw up on my Biology exams, which I dont think will have happened, but I cant completely rule it out, I've been given the green light to go to America for my second year...

So, all in all, I'm rather pleased with myself, the only dark spot on the horizon is that I have to have a needle stuck in me tomorrow morning, which sucks, really, but after that, I can relax and fill in visa forms... :D

'Fraid it won't be NY, it's already selected - OSU, Corvallis, Oregon. I plan on sacrifing lots of virgins to Mount Hood. Or failing that, sacrificing anyone I can find to the god of my laundry basket... :D

Volcanoes, the Pacific, the Subduction Zone, various other Geological things, but NYC wasnt on the Environmental Science approved list, so I couldnt choose it anyway. And I'm not sure I could've handled the culture shock from Lancaster to New York, it's like the Total Perspective Vortex of University Exchanges...

Ah well.

If I told you what it takes to reach the highest of highs,
you'd laugh and say nothing is that simple.
The truths been told many times before, Mesiahs pointed to the door,
no on had the guts to leave the temple.

I have no idea WHO you are talking about.
I am so mad I'm going to shoot my Tommy gun.

Besides, we're not gonna take it.

Either you get a cookie, or an award for most bizarre and accurate random utterances in the universe...

For those of you who missed it, the title was from The Who, the Tommy Rock Opera, and 'I'm free'.

See me, feel me, touch me, fuck me, (sorry, got distracted.)
Heal me.
This is the music of my youth.
Tommy and Quadrophenia are some of the best.

I went to my mother,
I said "I'm crazy mom,
help me!"
She said,
"I know how it feels son,
'cause it runs in the family!"

I'm not as big on Quadrophenia as I am on Tommy, Quadrophenia has some very good tracks on it, but its not as easy to listen to (maybe because it comes on 2 cd's and requires me to get off my ass to change them), I love Tommy, it's a work of genius.

Quite like the early stuff on Who's Next as well, but it's hit and miss in the later sections.
