Yup, same list for me as well, though I'm not sure if the Hall of Shame was originally here when the board was created in July. I just don't remember. If it wasn't, strike that from the list.

Same as the OP. I remember there was always a great gnashing of teeth everytime a new forum was suggested

edit: oh yeah, there were only two or three usergroups then too.

PSW, SW vs ST, and whatever other ones were the ones that were here when the board was first created since I've been here since the first day. (As many may have noticed, I love bragging about that. )

The Hall of Shame was not original to the board, it was created in September. I arrived here on the first day, when the board was a barebones.

I don't recall the politics forum being here when I joined, but that would
be the only new addition I have been here for.

Can't remember to be honest, I lurked since about November, so I saw the Politics board being set up, but I dont think anythings changed since I signed up, other than Politics becoming News and Politics.

And I suppose that goes to show that I'm still a newbie...

You should have done like me and registered right away, then lurked for months, and after that start posting that way you could brag about seniority like I always do.

I think the same was for me.

Politics and Gaming were set up later.

Well I came day 2, so it was the original board.

SLAM wasn't original to the board. IIRC, it was SWvST, PSW, OT, Announcements, and Testing.

From what I can tell, Other Sci-Fi was created on the fourth. And SLAM was around on the third, but I think it was created partway through the day, because I think I remember a discussion about its creation. Or I may simply be wrong.

I was here since day one lurking and registered about two weeks later. One of my first posts was the first chapter of Starcrossed whoch spurred people to post their own fics and thus fanfics was born. The HOS was born as a consequence of the Donkey raper invasion. Politics was born thanks to George W. Bush and his policy on Iraq. PST was born through the lobbying efforts of Trekkies like Alyeska and TheDarkling. Ahhh....the memories. This place has had its growing pains and ups and downs like any other instititution.

I registered around the same time as the Great Leader.

IIRC, SWvST, Pure SW, Fanfic, other Sci Fi, SLAM, and OT. Also, announcments and testing. At the time, there were no private forums either.

--What!?! A year!!! When the hell did that happen? Damn I keep losing all these years ... all I remember is suggesting that there should be a science and creationism forum (which turned into the SLAM forum).
