SD.NET's BBS 1st anniversary (July 3rd) is in exactly a week from now. I can't believe it's been that long, although that might have something to so with my rarely posting.

Am I the only one who's noticed this?

So thoughts everyone? How has your time here been?

Edit: I guess I should have included how my time here has been.

Ever since this forum was created, it has been the one I visit most frequently, the majority of people here are quite intelligent IMHO and the threads are almost always interesting to read and participate in.

When I first read that Mr. Wong was going to launch his own BBS, I thought the idea was cool, but expected most of the discussion to focus on SW vs ST, make no mistake, I was always an avid follower of the SW vs ST debate, but even a year ago, the subject had had already pretty much been beaten to death.

However, at this point, I find that most of the threads I have been posting in have been about totally different subjects, and the other members here have made them all interesting to read, and discuss.

So basically, I have had a lot of fun on these boards.

My props go out to Mr. Wong, and all the other members who have made this board into what it is today.

Was it as good for you as it was for me?

My short time here has been quite nice. The people here are
informed and polite. Most topics are thought provoking and
enjoyable.

This has been a quite enjoyable waste of far to much of my time. Soon will be able to begin celebrating the creation dates of various add-on forums as well.

I've been here at SD.net for much longer than it seems. My, how times flys.

Apparently, that was important enough to be posted twice.

Argh, and I won't be here for that or the 4th

Ah, the same day as my birthday. So you'll be here celebrating instead... pity, you'll miss the huge party. No cake for you!

i love this place gives me something to do at work when there is alot of down time.

In celebration, I shall do some avatar modifying of my own...

but it's a long time for BBS', at least ones I've seen. I have been signed up 3 months now... good times (I lurked for awhile, after I first found Mike's site)

Mm. I wasn't here at the beginning, but I do remember the creation of SD.net, and I joined only about a month afterwards. Time certainly does fly...

I've loved my time here.

The people are what makes this truely great.

Where did Darth Wong dig some of you up, anyway?

ack, I can barely remember when I found Stardestroyer.net, it was that long ago. It's become more a myth than a memory, but I think it was when I was searching for something on Midi-Chlorians, and the Episode I page popped up. Does anyone else remember those discussions that were posted before, before the BBS was up?

The only reason I didn't sign up for the BBS sooner was that my cable modem was crapping out the whole summer

Wow, a year is a long time. How old is the HAB? 8 months or so?

If that's the case, I think a sacrificial offering upon the Alter of Wong is in order. One of the ASVSers, of course. Or if not, then a random Red Shirt (no sock puppets though, we need a clean sacrifice) will do just as well.
