Basically, I want to put the following quotes from the Order of the Phoenix in my sig, but without spoiling it for anyone. I don't thik they are particularly spoilerish, personally.

So... if you haven't read the book yet, and don't want to read the rest of my thread just in case, then feel free to vote 'no' and read no further. If you have no intention of reading the book, or generally don't mind spoilers, then vote 'I don't care'

Do you think the following quotes would ruin the book for anyone else, and are they sig worthy (I know they're out of order and context):


Ron to Hermione: "You should write a book, translating mad things girls do so boys can understand them"

Hermione to Ron: "Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have"


Oh, and one last thing - I haven't finished the book yet so lets' keep it to just those spoilers, can we?

It's not really a spoiler, since it doesn't give anything away from the plot. Plus, if you are familiar with the fourth book, it's just the sort of exchange that you expect from Ron and Hermione, since they are clearly crushing on each other.

No problem. The names give away they're from HP but that's about it.
Otherwise, those could be from anywhere.

Those are fine, innerbrat. The 'emotional range of a teaspoon' was one of my favourites too.

It sounds kinda odd, considering a public high schooler in the U.S. can't think of anything more than "FUCK YOU". I say the only insults that are more than three words long in my school.
