I've always wondered- I know this is sort of foolish, but does anyone think it could be possible that there are secret organizations bent on controlling the world behind the scenes?

I've always been fascinated with the idea of the Illuminati, the Sons of Cincinnatus, the Trilateral Commission, all those other supposed holders of the reigns of power.

I mean, there are a lot of people out there with huge amounts of money and influence- drug lords, corporate moguls, and the like- what's to say some of them aren't in collusion, plotting to run the world from behind a screen of smoke and mirrors?

Be quiet we don`t want them shutting us up.

I think there is a pretty good possibility that there are some secret organizations waiting for the right moment to carry out some strange and destructive plan.

ok i actually was a Freemason for a while. i went into it thinking oo! oo! world domination. when in actuality it's just a bunch of old men who play poker and drink a hell of a lot. Years ago however you couldn't do shit in this country without being a Master Mason. I remember my grandfater telling me that if you wanted a job at any of the big local companies back in the 50's (Brown and Sharpe especially) you had to be a Master Mason.

What, nothing from the HAB or WRWC (essentially the same thing, but that's besides the point).

Personally, I think Paramont and LucasFilm are in together. They were the ones to incite this debate, and so tie up otherwise rational, thinking people into wasting time (and money) on a fairly pointless debate.

But that's just me.

Sure there are organizations who may seek to consolidate power within their own spheres of interest, but any behind-the-scenes control of the world is a flight of wild fancy dreamed up by folks who listen to too much Coast to Coast on overnight radio.

Trying to, probably. At least for sections of the world. That actually does, I'd have to say no.

While world domination is always the goal of all us manical super villians, I would like to to comfort some of your worries, by assuring you that we, the bunnies, are far to sensible to want to control the whole world. With conflicting beliefs, fanaticism, and the cold hard solution to them causing rebellion, we find if far more simpler just to construct a utopian society underground, or perhaps on another planet, and then killing everything on the surface of the earth.
