Yesterday, June 27th, was Tobey Maguire's birthday. It was also my birthday.

Yep, 19 years ago yesterday, I was brought into this world. I was going to tell you all when I woke up on my actual birthday, but it's really hot here, and the stupid fucking cable internet stops working when it gets over 100 degrees. And, of course, Comcast tells us, "Well, we don't have any reported outages in your area." It's like, yeah, you stupid bitches, you have at least one: me! So now it's nighttime (technically morning), and it's cool enough for the cable to work.

Anyways. Happy birthday to me. My sister got me Do the Right Thing. It wasn't Criterion Collection, but it's the thought that counts. My parents got me Spartacus Criterion and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (no, I didn't have that on DVD yet). Two of my friends got me The French Connection and Boogie Nights. I got myself Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Criterion.
I also got some money, and my family took me out to dinner. I then went to one of my friends houses, and a group of us stayed up talking until 5 in the morning.

All in all, it was a good day.

Y'know, you only get spankings on your actual birthday...
