Darth Wong has a Canadian accent

Post by RedImperator »

While everybody's favorite Sith Lord denied it in a thread several months ago, I can officially confirm that he does indeed say "eh" and "aboot" and other such Canadian things. He's also several inches shorter than me and could easily beat me in a short distance sprint, to judge by the speed he used getting out of a crosswalk when the signal changed to "Don't Walk". Also, I have a picture of him holding a 24 inch rubber sexual aid in the shape of a human forearm with a fist on the end. Einy, if you're good this year, maybe Santa will leave one of those under your Christmas tree.

I was going to list a bunch of other fun facts about Toronto, but I've been driving for 9 hours and I want to look at porn now. Hi guys, I'm back.

Only about as much of an accent as I do.

Well, I can confirm that when he talks, the entire top of his head doesn't float in midair.

I should have a Southern accent, considering my location, but I can tell you that I almost never say "y'all" or anything like that.

"Y'all" is a word that is well-ingrained into my vocabulary. I love saying it, rolls off the back of the tongue so damn good. :D

I live in a Canada and I have never heard anyone say "aboot", and rarely hear anyone say "eh?" at the end of a sentence.

....Ok, I'm better. 8)

It's funny--Red bringing up the subject of D.W.'s accent made me realize something. Whenever I read his posts, contrary to his cuddly Yoda avatar, I hear James Earl Jones' voice in my head, saying the lines of D.W.'s post. I never that until just now, but I think I've been doing that for as long as I've been here. Hmmph. Learn somethin' new everyday, eh? :D

Wait, Red, how tall are you? 5' 9", right?

Then I'm taller than Darth Wong. I feel vindicated.[/i]
