I thought you meant Tommy Lee Jones first, but he's not a rockstar though, phew.

He's not a rock star, but Micheal Jackson is pretty creepy. He likes little boys, gives his kids wierd names, does wierd things to them, has a high-pitched voice, and has gotten plastic surgery that has turned him into what looks to be like a white woman. Still, that's not wife beating, drug using, or murdering. It's just erratic behavior that would have landed anyone else into an asylum.

Jerry Lee Lewis.

Married his 13yr old cousin (twice removed) while he was still married to his first wife.

He would eventually be married six times with two of those wives dying accidentally. Two of his sons died in accidents as well but from what I can recall from the rumor mill about the deaths of his wives it sure sounds like they were both wacked.

I agree with The Yosemite Bear, J. Morrison is the darkest rock star.

I forget his name, but there was this crazy guy who was around the same time as sex pistols who was a fucking psycho.

He used to "sing" naked, had a very small penis,was bald, and beat the shit out of everyone near the front of his gig, his band, security, his girlfriend, whoever. He also used to smash his microphone into his own face as hard as he could for no particular reason...and used to cut himself on stage, poo on the floor then roll in it.

I think his quote was "i want to kill myself onstage"...but he died somewhere from a heroin overdose.

Michael Jackson is weird and creepy but I don't really think he ever does anything. Personally I think he wishes he were a mother or something like that.

This Norwegian fellow is most known for playing in a one-man Black/Death Metal band called Burzum, but for a while he was the bassist of another band, Mayhem... until he murdered their guitarist. Shortly after being arrested, the police raided his apartment and found enough explosives to blow up a large building!

He's currently serving out an 18-year prison sentence for murder and arson. To boot, he's a Neo-Nazi. I've also got the feeling that he's paranoid. (Not only did he kill aforementioned guitarist for no apparent reason, he reportedly carried around a military knife each time he went outside and always wore a layer of chainmail under his jacket)

Murder, arson, insanity and political extremism. If he isn't the most wretched person ever to play an electric guitar, I don't want to meet the one who takes the award.

Well Sid Vicious murdered his "wife" Nancy.

Morrison Beat both Patricia (Wiccan Wife) and Pam (California Wife) to the point where they miscarried, when he found out that they were pregnant. Used to trash recording studios and raped Janis Joplin.

Charles Mason was Nearly a Monkey, and was involved with the Beach Boys.....

hehe it's better than that, Charlie actually put out an album or two. A friend of mine used to have one of them in high school. I haven't heard it since then, but I don't remember it being anything great; average folk guitar with waundering, haphazard lyrics.

I actually have some full MP3s of some of his songs. Most of them are bog-standard 1960s pop/rock songs - except for one called "Mechanical Man" which has to be the most random and chaotic piece of noise I've ever heard. (Even I doubt whether it can be considered music)


As for Charles Manson's "dark side", the average Norwegian metal band probably has a criminal record similar to his.
