That's unfortunate.

Funny, though. I thought she died ten years ago... :?

You're probably thinking of Audrey Hepburn.

Both Hepburns were great. It's the ending of the golden era of cinema.. now we got the trash era.

No, I knew Audrey was already dead. I seriously thought that Katherine was also already dead.

Weird how things work like that.

I believe we've hit another time when we're going to lose a few of our greatest actors. Happens every year now. Katherine lived a long and full life. She was 96. Amazing.

My grandmother will be 90 this September, and my dad turned 74 this last March. :(

The fact that I'll turn 36 in October isn't doing me any good, either.

96 was a good run, Katherine Hepburn, and you'll always be young onscreen. Goodnight, you were a hell of a lady. :(

She will be missed.

Fuck you, the film industry still kicks ass. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it kicks more ass now than it ever has before. Don't give me this "argument from antiquity" fallacy. If you need proof that movies still kick ass, take a look at how many great movies were made in 1999 alone. That was perhaps cinema's greatest year ever.

That's a very sad thing.
I always liked her a great deal.
African Queen is a classic...

All we need now is for Bob Hope to die, but at this current rate, the old codger will live for another century

Hepburn was just from a different era of Cinema, that's all. Not better, not worse, just different.
