That's right, it's July 1st and that means it's time for the irishmick to give a shout out to America's northern neighbor, the great nation of Canada!

Oh, Canada, our home and native land...laa, daaa, de daaa, don't know the rest of the words......

well, anyways, happy Canada Day everybody!

I've always liked Canada, with it being part of the glorious commonwealth and all. Big up to the Canadians!

Ahh...Canada, our neighbor to the North. I prefer to see our relations as an older brother (US) to younger brotehr (Canada) its a love/faux hate relationship.

Ahh, Canada. Where the beer is strong, the women are hot and dance naked in your lap, and the people are civilized. If you'd just stop using those silly little French "kilometres" and re-embrace your glorious Imperial heritage, you'd have a perfect country.

ok, Happy Canada Day.

But since I live in Texas and don't care about your holiday(no offense, its just true). I look forward to the Fourth of July and eating a hot dog at the festival in my hometown's downtown area.

Canada Day was fun everywhere in Canada except in Quebec city, when the damn separatists crashed the party booing and insulting everyone calling them traitors.

It also wasn't fun in Grimshaw Alberta. They had a freak tornado, which didn't injure anyone, but ripped up the town. They had to pospone the celebrations, and declared a state of municipal emergency.

Just got home (well, my BF home actually) from watching the fireworks. I'm happy that in this time of SARS, budget cutbacks, and all that other stuff that people can still get together and celebrate the holiday with a nice fireworks show. I love Canada!

Looks like I missed Canada Day. I say we proclaim this day "The first day in the 2-day period between Canada Day and the 4th of July"!
