Not only is it happy birthday for SD.net's message board, it's also happy birthday for moi. Indeed, Mike inadvertantly gave me my best birthday present last year.

July 2nd, 2003. One year ago today, I joined the board. It's been a wild ride, and I would once again like to thank all involved, especially Mike, without whom none of this would be possible (obviously).

In celebration, I've reverted to my original avatar. Well, all right, it's actually a 100-pixel wide version of it, but it looks better this way. If I had the time to set up a web account, I'd show you guys the rest of the picture as I modified it. The guy is stretching his arms out over Coruscant, and it looks pretty snazzy.
But whatever. I'll cycle through all my old avatars; I was just looking through them, and they were all awesome.

Heh, well, ever since I started my second year at U of I, Big Bird became reserved strictly for when I would go back to Cedar Rapids for weekends where I would be on a 1-2 day break from the board.

Damn, I remember those simpler days, back when I only had Big Bird and Cammy, rotating them once a week. It wasn't until late October that I started using Asuka, and then early November that I began to make more and then rotate them daily. And then in mid December the weekend avatars manifested...

Hmm, actually, I don't think I've used Cammy for a while, either. Maybe I should use her and BB for the next few days.

And to think my very first post here was to tell Sith God, our very first troll, to shut the fuck up.
