A question to really think about...

If you had the power to change one mistake in your life (and only one), what would you change? (note: No using loopholes to give yourself more chances to change past events.)

To get things rolling....

I'd go back and fix the time where when my dog turned 7, we kept feeding him high-protein food. (bad for their liver and kidneys) We had to have him put to sleep when he was 12 due to kidney failure. :( This was a little over 10 years ago.

When I first starting playing computers. I mean, if I didn't, I wouldn't be on this board right now most likely, but my life would be so much better overall (not to say you guys make it worse, just computers in general)

I'd change my personality starting at the 6th grade, try to be more stylish and outgoing. I had no social life, and constantly made an ass of myself. I didn't realize what a fool I was until 8th grade, and decided to change that. I tried to be more coherent, combed my hair into a geeky combover, and stopped doing annoying stuff in public. And perhaps try getting out of the Catholic school I was at and didn't like after 6th grade and not 7th. If all of that stuff happened, I'd probably be better off than I am now.

I would have "unconverted" much earlier, and not been so antagonistic in 8th grade.

I have the belief that we make all our mistakes for a reason; it builts character and experience is the very best teacher. However, I could add one. =)

I wish I was more honest earlier in my life. I found it easier to lie to people and to put on a facade, instead of telling them how I felt. If I was depressed, no one really knew. And I've spent more of my life depressed than I appreciate. I think if I would've told someone, I wouldn't have some of my old issues. ;)

Most of the mistakes I've made have been educational, and aside from a few things, I'm fairly happy with who I am right now. One thing I would change is I would have gone to socials and whatever right from the start of uni, I've had a fantastic month, but if I'd gotten into the swing of things from the start, then it would have been a fantastic year. Ah well. Such is life...

Stay in Pre-Algebra in 6th grade (an advanced class at my school). Dropping out of it really closed a lot of doors for me, and my mom didn't help (who would have had me take all short-bus classes throughout high school if she had gotten her way).

Kinda hard to say...Probably would've been a little more social a few years ago...especially with the ladies. :D

Aside from that and getting bit in the face by a dog (I would've never got him in a head-lock had I known!) I lead a pretty good life and the other mistakes I have made have been a learning experience for me.

Go back a couple years and convince my grandpa not to sell his cabin, if he had never done that my life would be so much better.

Picking the wrong lotto numbers for any one of the $25 million 6/49 prizes. I'd fix that mistake :)

I would never have gone to law school and focussed more on my dream of being a writer.
