The way you act...

OK, do you, your SO or anyone you know act significantly different in any of the following situations, and if they did/didn't, would you read anything into it:

1) You and SO alone
2) You, SO and your mates
3) You, SO and THEIR mates
4) You and your mates without SO.

Please note, I'm not talking about exaggarating/holding back on certain behaviours, like not throwing you partner down and shagging her in front of your mates, or not getting hammered out of your brains and playing drinking games during a romantic evening with your spouse, but a significantly noticeable personality change

Well?

A simple 'no' would suffice - I really would like some advice here!

4) You and your mates without SO.

This is when I cut loose with all the dirty jokes & stories that I can't tell with my GF around. The conversations usually get real crude as we drink our beers and talk about various things, and I swear more. Oh yes, and I seduce waitresses and strippers and take them home for wild one night stands.

I act myself generally in all those situations, and don't have a major personallyity change.

Ok, it goes like this:

I'm me all the time. There is virtually no change between any situation in the way I act etc.
Rob is a little more affectionate when we're alone, and a little more of a drunken lad when he's with his mates.

BUT:

My best friend, who usually is an intelligent, independant young woman, turns into a simpering, opinionless Barbie doll when around her boyfriend, and when they're sitting in my bedroom/the park/ a public place, they're incredibly soppy and gropey and 12A rated, yet when I go inot her bedroom, they'll be sitting at opposite ends of the room doing seperate things.

Is this normal?
