Man, have you ever even looked in SLAM? A fundamentalist is someone who advocates upholding the fundementals tenets of an ideology, usually religion. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are Christian fundamentalists, Osama bin Laden and the Ayatollah Khomeini are Islamic fundamentalists.

Short for Fundamentalist. Usualy, the word "Fundie" is used to refer to an protestant christian (though there are fundies in other religions as well) who holds that the bible is divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible. Fundies are generaly creationists, homophobes, ignorant and stupid people, who belief that all that are not members of their particular denomination of christianity will go to hell.

OK, this is classic:
"I'd rather read a Left Behind book over a Harry Potter one anyday. But then again, that's just me. I'm a military person and I like books that are more realistic."

I noted that one too. I love reading Military history and related subjects as well and what I looked at in 'Left Behind' makes no military sense. H, as virtually all quotes, is talking out of his butt.

LMFAO! I've read all those, I think that if you replaced all the Christian elements with anything else, it would be horrible sin to read them... but uh, more realistic? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm not sure how a pseudo-biblical fairy tale is more "realistic" than teenagers with supernatural powers.

[Replying to 'Were Adam and Eve black?'] "No. They were white like milk. There are no whites on earth today! This white -vs- black is of the devil! All who are on the earth today are black of different degrees."
- kjbbn.net, Christianity.com Forums
"Adam and Eve before the fall were white like milk! After the fall this is not true of anyone but Christ."
- kjbbn.net, Christianity.com Forums
"well I suspect man was white in the beginning since it is said man was created in the image of God and his shining glory was bright and I guess white then."
- DanielGorden, Christianity.com Forums
One item I have no understanding is why people are so insistent that 'White' is special. I have met alot of people with that attitude and cannot understand that reasoning at all.
edit: I am Caucasian myself

I like these:
"I dont Have to do that [provide evidence] mot of the public Knows It dose not comply with the Laws of Thermodynamics. and many others. "
- newworldcrusader, ChristianForums
"You are saying that the Chihuahua is proof for evolution right because it cannot repoduce with the original dog? Is that correct? If so, why is the chihuahua not a dog? Is it a cat or bird or fish? Maybe its a plant because its getting smaller and slowly turning into a piece of fruit..."
"Sorry, but the Democrats have turned into appeasing socialists. P[olitically]C[orrecting]'ing the world to death through programs and tolerance."
- KeysforChrist, ChristianForums
"And I would want to know why Christian parents were sending their kids to the anti-God public school system in the first place. It's like the Israelites sending their kids to the Canaanites to be educated."
- Socratism, TheologyWeb
"I hope I haven't offended any of you evolutionist types by using facts and logic "
- Mathezar, God and Science Board
"Duck-billed platypus. Mammal, or reptile? Or transitional form between a crocodile and a duck?"
- Douglas, ARN Discussion Forum
"... where Catholics can preach to the choir without fear of independent or critical thought."
- Sid, RaptureReady
Yet this next one is my personal favorite:
"Before discounting the Flood, modern science should humbly remember that if we were only to trust its explanatory models and predictions the Pyramids would be an historical impossibility. But there they are, for all to see, still driving evolutionary scientists crazy after all these years."
- Jonatas Machado, Amazon.com Customer Reviews

*chuckles* I liked this one:
"I don't care how you interpret your experience. For me, N[ear]D[eath]E[xperience]s are evidence of life after death, and nothing anyone says could ever change that. And even if there weren't NDEs at all, I'd believe in life after death. My beliefs are independent of evidence. Blind faith is what makes me tick."
- emotional, Internet Infidels
And this one:
"He only gives you enough information to spark your curiosity so that you may go research it more and wonder...opening yourself up to demonic attack..."
- Sane, RaptureReady
But this one is by FAR my favourite. If I had only known before how easy it was!
"Now you may find this a little hard to understand , but the fact that this christian website exists testifies to the fact that their 'IS' a God and a christ."
- Brain Damage, ChristianForums
