Reminds me of how, in 6th grade, my pals and I flipped off a jet at the Air and Water show. It zoomed in our direction, causing us to scramble for cover, yelling our heads off. Then it made a cloud formation that looked, initially, like a giant middle finger.

Uh-huh. Sure, guys. You can keep thinking that...This Carina sub-cloud is particularly striking partly because its clear definition stimulates the human imagination (e.g. it could be perceived as a superhero flying through a cloud, arm up, with a saved person in tow below).
