My dad has been buying crap from "Coral Ridge Ministries" for a while now, and periodically some of their cronies call here begging for money.

Well, today one called and as soon as the guy got past the "I'm calling on behalf of Dr. D. James Kennedy..." I fired off with: "We're not interested, keep your Christian fundamentalist shit to yourself!" *click*

Was I being too evil? I just hate televangelists and anyone preaching *any* religion, this is dispite following fairly Christian beleifs as well.

Why do you think you were too evil? Telemarketers are obnoxius and religious telemarketers are worse.

Telemarketers suck, Televangelists suck even harder. Anything done on the phone is not evil enough.

I don't see anything wrong with that. If I ever get called by religious telemarketers, I might try the same.

Call them back a whole bunch of times and tell them you don't have any money to give them. They seem pretty concerned about that, you ought to at least let them know where you stand. *winkwink*

That was fine. I've been wanting to do stuff with telemarketers, but the damn people stopped calling. I mean, that's good, but they picked a bad time to stop... oh well

Bah, if a telemarketer calls just cream as load as you can down the phone line. There'll have a headache for a fair while after that. Or just tell them you have multiple free offers for them.
