I`ve just seen the first official AMBER alert broadcast here in Montreal,i`m wondering if it really is justified cause the girl is 17 year old and the alledge kidnapper is 19,she`s a white girl 5.6 175 lb he`s a black guy 6.2 175 lb,two possibilities real kidnapping or she ran away with her boyfriend.

I guess you guys won't know until they find her. And it's justified if it's a missing person's case; she could be the very real victim of a kidnapping even if she's seventeen.

I remember seeing a case a few months ago... I believe it was the first time it was used, two girls got kidnapped. They were quickly found, and it seems like the person had raped them and was on his way to dispose of them. He eventually was killed in a shootout.

The sherrif said something along the lines of "Now we don't have to rehabilitate that sonofabitch"

Edit: Forgot to add the relevance of this story. The van the guy was driving was spotted because it's license number model/make/year etc was sent through the Amber system.

It's horrible that they were raped, but it's wonderful they got the motherfucker and killed him. Didn't he kill their boyfriends, first?

It's horrible that they were raped, but it's wonderful they got the motherfucker and killed him. Didn't he kill their boyfriends, first?

I don't think so, he grabbed the girls out of the car at some lookout where couples makeout in their car. In fact, I think it was the boyfriend that called the police.

She's a minor, he's of legal age. Tolerating a relationship between the two is one thing, running away with a minor is something else. I think in this case its worthwhile. I'd err on the side of caution.
