Durandal would be one of the Board of Directors for the local University's Science department.

Some of the Army and Marine troops could probably work as cops for what few laws we'd have.... on weekends Jegs might also be the local pastor, and I could fill the place of a Rabbi if anyone wished...

Needless to say this would be a creative town, and I feel bad for anyone who tries to engage our public figures in any sort of debate...

Alyrium would own and Einy manage the most happenin' place in town, 72-hour parties on weekends and the most amazing role-playing into-the-night on weekdays.

Aerius and jmac run the local mountain-biking shop. Marina has the Poly Sci department at the Uni in an iron grip. Perhaps Sheppard runs the Military History museaum and extensive library. Stravo runs the library and the local printing press. Local fanzines cover every possible genre. Spanky runs the video store with the most impressive collection of Anime on the planet.

Sometmes the cops have to bust up drunken weekend brawls between the HAB boys and their rival gang the Mechas.

Dalton would run the local tabloid.

Wong would be mayor

Our resident degree holders would run the local college... I would join their ranks eventually...

I would of course be student at said university, and would host MASSIVE D&D games in my dorm

Ein would own and operate the local club.

HAB would be the local militia

One of the other usergroups would be the... Undercover police

Writers Guild... Runs the library

As for the reason for this:

I have over a year of experience working in a video store, including time in a management position.

If SD.Net were a village, I would live somewhere on the outskirts, talking to various woodland creatures and living in a cave and eating shoes. Maybe growing a big beard in the process.
