Same thing happened here in Ottawa last week. A house burned down and when the firefighters went to the basement they found about $1,000,000 worth of pot plants.

i bet the neighborhood and the firefighters were having a jolly good time at THOSE fires

Thousands of citizens have rushed into the smoke of a house fire now
believed to have contained kilos upon kilos of marijuana. Something of a
local crisis as all the poptarts in local supermarkets have been all sold out.
All attempts to put out the fire have been nullified by the crowds of people constantly setting light to the house. There are also rumors that there is a
large glass object with water and petroleum jelly inside being constructed near the blaze.
