I was talking with my buddy on the phone about GF's and sleeping earlier on. Somehow the topic of how what one wears (or doesn't) while sleeping came up. So the question is, do you sleep naked? Why do you sleep naked? And if you don't sleep naked, what do you wear while sleeping?

Nope. I can't sleep unless I've got my drawers on.

No because:

1) I don't want them wandering around and getting hurt.
2) My sheets usually get off me during the night and I don't think I want mom and dad waking me up in a totally uncovered state.

Not usually. I prefer sleeping in my underwear. But I don't like sleeping with pants on, and I can't stand sleeping with a shirt on.

Socks. I must have socks on.

Yes, especially in the summertime because it gets so damn hot in my room at night. (yes, I do have AC, it just doesn't do a whole lot of good since my room faces the west and sees more sunlight than any other room in the house....)

If I'm with my GF, then yes. Then again, that has happened a grand total of 3 times...

I sleep with my boxers and a t-shirt on. For some reason I can't sleep without a shirt on, I don't know why. When out in the field, it's the same but I always keep my BDU pants on, and sometimes my socks on too.

If there's a fire and I have to leave the house post haste, I don't want to be wandering around the street in my birthday suit... So no, I don't sleep naked, ever.

IT would be a very very rare occurance that im not naked when i sleep (for instance on a friend's sofa, if i was in a friend's sleeping bag i'd get naked), i cant stand clothes when trying to sleep.

I think you misread the wording.

I sleep with boxers on, on the off chance someone will come in my room and need to wake me up, which happens a lot on the weekends.
Besides I need to keep the guys warm.

I sleep fully clothed (although it should be realized that I wear shorts 99.999% of the time).

I wear briefs when I sleep.

Sweatpants or shorts, skivvies if it's hot.

I either sleep fully clothed, when Im leaving in a few minutes, or I sleep in nothing.

Yes. Unless I'm sleeping somewhere unusual.
