Who's going to volunteer to read all 1,956 pages?

It seems pretty spammy to me. And wasn't my thread in A&P closed due to server difficulties before reaching 100 pages? If so, how did this one last so long?

I've seen thread at tf.net that are this long. Board errors started forcing the mods to close the threads after a certain point.

That's what happens when you encourage spam and have no spam deletion policy in effect.

I'm amazed, at nearly 2000 pages, I would think that everything that
can be said about the topic would have been said already.

We, of course, employ ninjas and several secret police agencies to deal with spam.

That's the number of views, not posts. It's a mere 5,628 posts as this posting.

It would be ruthlessly crushed and the perpetrators carried off to the Gulag.

at SFM we have no fewer then 100 pages of barely clothed men. granted, its one 20th the longest post, there, but i'd say thats pretty good for a site devoted to 3D graphics. :D

Not without posts being deleted and threads being locked, perhaps a few members being banned. I'm sure if that thread was started here, it would have been locked by page 4.

I can just see the guy who coded that message board software coming across that link. He starts to weep, overcome with an unfathomable sadness and shame, and slowly pulls out a pistol. He puts it into his mouth, closes his eyes... and attempts to swallow it. He dies minutes later, having managed to choke to death on a pistol.

I can see that. And the blood is on those bastards' hands.

No! Let them find their private parts up a tree in Rutland!

Well, if we were to "incapacitate" Olrik, we might get around seven pages or so before the other Mods got around to it...

Do you ever have the feeling you're being watched? Because you are.. ^.^ ~ Olrik

Come come, Olrik, young minds fresh ideas, let's be tolerant. ~ Stravo

Not only do that have mind-boggling amounts of spam, but also many people's signatures take up the whole screen and some of them take up more then two.

And their privates fed to Fluffy, the Rancor.
Then they'd be fed to rabid trek fans with a sign around their neck reading, "One ISD would destroy the UFP."
Let the frenzy begin.

How fast did that thread grow. I remember one thread having gone up to something like 900 posts in 4 hours.

Seven? You delude yourself. They'll have to promote someone to replace him, and logically, that's me (don't ask me to explain my logic, just go with it). And, as I've explained before, I LOVE locking threads. Lock lock lockitty lock. I'll jump on spam like a starving pit bull on a vegan diet. I'll lock threads so hard my mouse-clicking finger will hurt. I'll be the bane of spammers, the unstoppable force that the +1's see in their darkest nightmares. I'll make DOZENS of thread locked pictures and use them all every day! No one can stop me! No one! Bwa-hahahahahahahaha!

Ahem. Sorry.

There was a huge one on the Babylon 5 boards a while ago, called "who would win" that was definately over 30 000 posts...
