G.I. Joe question

I seem to remember several GI Joe episodes where they had to find these three elements to complete some ultimate weapon. One of those was deuterium/heavy water. What were the other two?

That's because nobody could shoot straight and they used glorified flashlights.Kitsune wrote:Hmm, I cannot remember anybody dying in any episode.aphexmonster wrote:all i remember is nobody ever died -,- ...
Well, apparently Cobra Commander was a nicer guy then was presented, I mean, who else would hire the blind to work for him?neoolong wrote:That's because nobody could shoot straight and they used glorified flashlights.Kitsune wrote:Hmm, I cannot remember anybody dying in any episode.aphexmonster wrote:all i remember is nobody ever died -,- ...
If it's good enough for the Imperial Guard, it is good enough for everybody.neoolong wrote:

What exactly were they building?Ghost Rider wrote:Anymore nutty GI Joe tidbits wanted?
It was a matter transporter...they called it the MASS Device.Dalton wrote:What exactly were they building?Ghost Rider wrote:Anymore nutty GI Joe tidbits wanted?

So it was a Star Trek ripoff.neoolong wrote:Molecular Assembler Scrambler Sender.Ghost Rider wrote:It was a matter transporter...they called it the MASS Device.Dalton wrote: What exactly were they building?
No, but they killed an assload of Cobra in the movie. While none of their deaths are visible, they are clearly infered (like throwing a Cobra off of the statue of liberty of sinking their attackboats in massive explossions). Duke was also supposed to die in that movie but they redubbed the line and put him in a coma.Kitsune wrote:Hmm, I cannot remember anybody dying in any episode.aphexmonster wrote:all i remember is nobody ever died -,- ...

I remember deaths being implied in the tv cartoon, though not often. One was when a bunch of Cobras were on a catwalk, and the Joes shot off the supports, and you see the catwalk fall (from a distance) into a cloud of dust. Since the fall was about 30 feet, you'd have to bet some of them got killed.
I also remember one episode where they were in a swamp, and they stranded two cobras on a little rock, and several alligators started climbing up the rock towards them. It cut away, but you had to infer...
And then there was an early one where you saw some getting wounded by laser blasts, but doesn't show them actually getting killed.
Other than that, yeah, everybody always ejected or jumped out of the way or whatever.
It's behind the explosions in the foreground.Hasler wrote:If you look real hard in the back ground you see a plane expode every so often and no parachute.
Cobra, on the other hand, were terrorists - and are they ever expected to be as well-trained as "qualified" military troops?aphexmonster wrote:Its funny that nobody had any aim because GI joe and cobra commander were supposed to be like the ellite of the elite soldiers and junk.
