In little over a week the first people will be up in lovely Bulter, PA, setting up one of the biggest events on the SCAdian calendar, where the Kingdom of the East and her Allies fight the Kingdom of the Middle and her Allies in a two-week slug-fest of Chivalry, Courtliness, Archery, Warfare, and SHOPPING!! Yes folks, one of the ways to determine Who Won Pennsic War is Who Spent the Most! The Loser gets Pittsburgh.

Hey cool! I'm going to the War too, though I've been hired to work a concession stand (the Fruity Cobbler, run by a friend of my folks), so I won't actually get to take part much of the festivities, which means no boozing it up with ladies in skimpy fur bikinis around a campfire singing pirate songs for me.
