Changed my mind, YB, I think my new answer is something like that quantum stuff. A new era of propulsion has begun.

It's a stardard sick joke, we have this one guy that is incredably fast & moody all of the time at work we say he's like a hummingbird on crank. The end result is what would happen?

Of course the results in RL could probavbly be predicted, it's just a tastless joke.

Although the physically impossible ones are funny....

I can think of 3 possibilities: (in order of feasability and likelyness)

1) The little sucker would kick over and die.
2) You're gonna hear a high pitched buzz and then see it go to warp right in front of your eyes, smashing into everything until it drops dead, but not until it sets a new animal speed record.
3) You'll discover a new quantum state effect because it's moving so fast it's encountering time-effects.

Well, my friend's uber-hyperactive shih tzu once got ahold of a ritalin tablet and went absolutely batshit crazy. I would assume it would be even worse with a hummingbird.

Oh, I think the hummingbird's heart will beat so fast it eventually "overloads" itself and bursts a few blood vessels here and there.
