Messenger style pop up ads.. WTF?!!

How the freaking HELL do you get rid of those messenger style pop-ups like from endad.com?!!
And isn't that extortion technically? Since they're the only ones sending you those ads and asking you to pay them to stop it?

Scroll down to "Messenger"
Click on it, then click stop. Then double-click and set Startup Type to Disabled.

What website is it your on when you get them? I've never come across them.

They'll pop up even when your browser is closed. It's a Windows exploit used by spammers.

I wouldn't shed a tear if their site had Something Badâ„¢ happen to it...

You can also use a firewall to block/allow messenger traffic if you're on a network with legitimate traffic.
