Just wondering how many other people do this, when I start a thread, I often hang around 'nearby', and often post again to add comments.

I haunt other peoples thread too.

Plenty of times.

Depends on whether it's bunch of fanboys wanking on something because they must be proven right, or some sort of debate or just simply talking.

When I post in a thread, it moves to the top of my head in my list O' Importance, and I read replys to those treads before any others.

Sometimes I avoid threads that I start.

If you ever seen me post I get replies...but I never go back...~Jason Edit: After it was posted that is.

...and then there are the threads that you start, you go away for awhile and when you come back the thread topic has gone from the original disturbing topic to the even more disturbing topic of Cthulu plush toy tentacle sex. That's just haunting from start to finish.

It wasnt me, it was old Mr Mcreevy, the Caretaker - he was trying to scare everyone away so he could get his hands on the hoard of plastic garden gnomes. He used a projector to make fake ghosts and used lots and lots of luminous paint. Damn him.

But he's dead now. I just ran him over in an unknown flowery campervan with no number plates... muahaha! The trouble is, there were all these kids in the back of this mystery machine, and they weighed me down, so the Fuzz got me.

And I would have succeeded if it wasnt for those pesky kids

I don't know if this fits, but any threads that I start I look at a few times to pad the view count....

I do, but then I don't see much point to making a thread and not coming back to it.

Of course I haunt my own threads. Why would I post them if I wasn't interested in what people had to say? It's not like I start all that many, anyhoo....

I used to post and dash like mad ... but now i linger, because i realize that it creates some interesting conversation.

Of course. That is, when I actually start a thread. I believe, that in all my time here, the number of threads that I've started can be counted on one hand.

When I first start it, I tend to look at them to see the replies, but then I stop. But, I usually don't start new topics.

I don't see how unless your not contributing. Logically you should want to be a part of a discussion on a topic you cared about enough to make a thread on. If you don't then its spam in the first place.

Sort of like what our discussion is now?
